Cambridge-based company joins more than 60 clean energy suppliers in the region

Bruce Power and the Nuclear Innovation Institute’s Clean Energy Frontier program welcome Authorized Inspection Services Inc. (AIS) to the region. AIS has opened an office in Kincardine and continues to support Bruce Power’s operations.

Joining more than 60 clean energy suppliers who have already made the move to the Clean Energy Frontier region, the nondestructive testing company has a longstanding relationship with Bruce Power providing high quality services.

“The clean energy supply chain continues to grow in the region of Bruce, Grey and Huron counties,” said Jessica Linthorne, Director, Clean Energy Frontier Program at NII. “AIS is joining a tremendous clean energy network who have expanded into the region and who are dedicated to our clean energy future.”

With more than 35 local employees, Authorized Inspection Services will continue to deliver services to the nuclear industry while engaging with local communities.

“It’s important to our organization that we engage with youth and introduce radiography and other inspection methods. There is an incredible career opportunity with nondestructive testing, and AIS is looking forward to expanding mentorship programs into the region,” said Zoran Priboj, President of Authorized Inspection Services.

Bruce Power President and CEO Mike Rencheck is pleased to welcome AIS to the region.

“The innovation and collaboration happening in the Clean Energy Frontier region is exciting and is helping to grow our economy, enable new infrastructure, and create good jobs locally and throughout Ontario,” said Rencheck. “Bruce Power is committed to supporting communities and developing opportunities where people can excel. We have strong momentum in the region and are proud to be part of the community.”
